First Ever Dr Sketchy Nottingham

It was around 10am in the morning that I woken up to get ready for the first ever Dr Sketchy Nottingham. I wore blue short sleeved shirt and denim jeans for the day. I went on the bus at 11:30am to town and arrived at town 12:00pm and went to browse in the shops for a while. I really loved to shop on my own, no offense. At 12:25pm I went to the lions and met up with my best friend, HaYz-* to go to the Dr Sketchy Nottingham class that was so interesting to go to.

It was a line of students when we arrived at Escucha, on Fletcher Gate. Then, it was a great atmosphere, and very comfy too! Once, we both settled, guess who we saw? We saw MAREK! it was a BIG surprise that he came too that he is the ledge of drawing that he a great life drawer advicer! :) I didn't know that I was going to have some people of who I knew in the class as well.

"It's 1 0'clock to start off the class and let's the drawing commence!"

It was Emerald Ace, first to be the model for us to draw. She done a standing fan pose first in her sexy light pink corset like a show girl. It was all warm ups to begin with. You can see that my drawings lines are broken and feintly drawn. It was only 5 mins for each warm up. I wished that we could take photos of the models that we were not permitted to do so in the studio or the workshop.

All of other warm up drawings were not that brilliant, so I am going to skip of that rubbish... ^_^

Then, we had half an hour break! We were taking photos of us and also each other's work that was fun! Then, I wanted to meet 1 or 2 people, then I chatted and met Danny, one of Marek's life drawing student. He was so nice and a great chap. I said some bits 'n' bots and it was time to get started again, so annoyed that I wanted to talk to Danny bit longer.

It was the competition time for the prizes and this is how it works:

"Firstly, you will have a model to draw for a specific time limit with your drawing talents or style. After, the time is up, then the model themselves is the judge will choose 2 people's drawings of their choice that who win the prizes for that specific drawing of pose. Then, we have to pick one winner by applausing loud for our chosen winner for them to choose their prizes first and the runner up will be given a random prize after the winner has chosen their prize."

But, we had performances firstly by Diva Hollywood. After her performance she done her first pose for the first 10 minutes and then picked her winners; after the prize giving she done another 10 minute pose and done her job.

Then, we had Mysti Vine to perform next and to pose for us! Her first pose was OK, but we had to draw the back of her that I wasn't expected to do, because we sat on the far left side of the model that we drawn. Then, for the second pose with her red close to Wonder Woman outfit that one was better because she knew that we had drawn her back and it wasn't fair that we don't get to draw her in her front that it supposed to be. Quite happy with that one.

It was all 10 minutes drawing!

Then, it was the very last one had 3 models to draw from. It was Diva Hollywood, Dr When and Mysti Vine. We had 20 minutes to draw all three, but the problem that I couldn't drawn all three because of where I was seated. So, I was focusing on Mysti Vine and I was so proud with the final piece.

Then, it was 4pm that the session is finished! It was so much fun drawing and I would love to go to the next one!
